WLAX: Wildcats Suffer a Tough Loss On The Road To SUNY Canton.

 – The SUNY Poly women's lacrosse team (3-3, NEAC 1-1) fell to SUNY Canton (4-4) 16-1 in the non-conference matchup.

 

The Wildcats suffered a tough loss against the Roos of SUNY Canton this past Saturday. The Roos strong offense took control of the game early scoring 12 of their 16 goals in the first half. Nakeya Stedman (Sauquoit, N.Y.) scored the lone goal for the Wildcats.

 

STAT POINTS:

  • Nakeya Stedman netted one goal for the Wildcats, making this her 5th goal of the season.
  • Megan Will (Remsen, N.Y.) had 13 saves for the Wildcats.
  • Kayla Prosinski, (Endwell, N.Y.) had four ground balls and one caused turnover for the Wildcats.
  • Allison Auger led the Roos with 4 goals and 2 assists.
  • Molly Denny finished with 5 points for the Roos.

The Wildcats take the road to face the Wells College Express in their second conference game of the season. The game is scheduled for April 6th, with at 6:00 PM start.
