MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women's lacrosse team (2-2, NEAC 0-1) fell to the Mavericks of Medaille College (3-1, NEAC 1-0) 16-3 in their first conference game of the 2018 season.
The Wildcats hosted the Mavericks of Medaille College in their first conference game of the season. The Mavericks strong offense took over the Wildcats defense. Mari Ames (Carthage, N.Y.) scored all three goals for the Wildcats during today's conference matchup.
STAT POINTS:
- Mari Ames scored three goals, bringing her career points total to 218.
- Megan Will (Remsen, N.Y.) finished with 19 saves for the Wildcats.
- Macayla Barry finished with 6 points for the Mavericks with 5 goals and 1 assist.
- Emma Campagna finished with 4 points for the Mavericks.
- Deejah Burgess, the goalkeeper for the Mavericks, improves to a 3-1 record for the season.

The Wildcats will host the Hawks of Hilbert College on Wednesday March 24th. The game is scheduled for a 4:00pm start. The Wildcats are 2-1 all-time against the Hawks.
