Pioneers Hand Loss to Women’s Lacrosse

UTICA, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly Women's Lacrosse Team dropped to 2-2 Tuesday afternoon after an 18-3 loss at Utica College (4-2). 

Brooke Miller, of Utica, led all scorers with 5 goals and Morgan DuPont led all players with 6 points on 6 assists.

Krysta Beha (Marcy, N.Y. / Whitesboro) first got the Wildcats on the board with less than a minute to go in the first half. Beha opened the scoring in the second half to notch her second and final goal on the day. Corrina Marconi (Rochester, N.Y. / Gates-Chili) rounded out the scoring for SUNY Poly with the final tally of the game.

Tierney McGlynn (Watervliet, N.Y. / Watervliet) led the defense with 3 ground balls and a caused turnover. Cassidy Thompson (Weedsport, N.Y. / Weedsport) got the decision in goal with 7 saves.

The Wildcats open conference play this weekend against Bryn Athyn at 1:00.
