GANSEVOORT, N.Y.- Five SUNYIT Women's Lacrosse players earned All-conference selections Wednesday afternoon, the most selections in the three-year history of the program.
The Wildcats were led by freshmen midfielder Nicole Dipiazza (Colonie, N.Y./ Colonie) and junior defender Tierney McGlynn (Watervliet, N.Y./ Watervliet) who were both selected to the 2nd team. Dipiazza led the Wildcats in goals this season with 39, while McGlynn led in both groundballs (50) and caused turnovers (30).
Also awarded for the Wildcats were freshmen attacker Krysta Beha (Whitesboro, N.Y./ Whitesboro), senior midfielder Taviot Jackowski (LaFayette, N.Y./ LaFayette) and goalkeeper Cassidy Thompson (Weedsport, N.Y./ Weedsport) who were all selected for third team honors.
