    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly wmen’s basketball team defeated SUNY Morrisville on Saturday afternoon 57-54 to wrap up the 2023-2024 season on senior day. The Wildcats celebrated Patricia Vanlue, Zilah Wright, Emann Stennett, and Amanda Sweet, who are all in their final season with the team. With the win, the Wildcats ended the season 7-18 overall and 5-7 in North Atlantic Conference play.

    UTICA, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball team dropped their final NAC contest of the year on Friday night 60-53 against Eastern Nazarene. With a spot in playoffs on the line for both teams, the Wildcats kept the game close the entire night but weren’t able to overcome a fourth-quarter deficit. The Wildcats will wrap up their season tomorrow against SUNY Morrisville, which will be played as a non-conference game.

    Johnson, Vt.- The SUNY Poly Women’s Basketball team defeated Vermont State Johnson on Friday night 66-50 behind 14-point performances from both Hannah Shipley and Alysa Jackson. The Wildcats used to 21-2 start in the first quarter to race out with a strong lead. With the win, the Wildcats improved to 6-15 overall and 5-5 in conference play.

    CLINTON, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women’s basketball dropped a non-conference matchup to Hamilton College on Tuesday night 62-45. Despite being down 30-10 at halftime, the Wildcats used a 20-6 run in the third quarter to cut the Continentals' lead to 36-30 going into the fourth quarter. The comeback would not be enough, however, as the Continentals would get off to a hot start in the fourth quarter and hold on for the victory. With the loss, the Wildcats move to 5-12 on the season and will shift their focus back to conference play.

The winner will receive the NAC’s AQ bid to the NCAA DIII Championship Tournament.

The Wildcats were well represented on the list with seniors Molly Burdick and Lyrik Jackson were voted to the NAC First and Second Teams respectively and Allison Osborn-Smith was the Wildcats Sportsmanship Team nominee.

    UTICA, N.Y. – For the second consecutive season, the SUNY Poly women’s basketball team has won the North Atlantic Conference West Division Championship. The Wildcats faced off with SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday afternoon for the title of West Champion and the opportunity to play for a NAC Championship and a berth in the NCAA DIII National Championship Tournament. A dominant first half was ultimately the determining factor in the game. The Wildcats won the game 51-45 to claim the West and advance to the NAC Championship.
