WBB: Wildcats Take Down Caz in NEAC Opener.

MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women's basketball team beat Cazenovia on Wednesday night, earning their first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win of the season. The game was never in doubt for the Wildcats who led by 27 points late in the fourth quarter.

Khristaijah Jackson (Levittown, Pa.) had a double-double in the game. The senior had a game high 25 points on 11-18 from the field and pulled down 11 rebounds. Jackson also had two blocks and a steal in the win.

Shannon Harrison (Holland Patent, N.Y.) had a solid game for the Wildcats. The sophomore shot 67% from the field, scoring 15 points.

Tayor Aybar (Woodside, N.Y.) had a game high seven assists in the game. She also scored five points.

Paige Gallo (Balston Spa, N.Y.) had a solid all-around game. She finished with nine points, five rebounds, four assists, and a steal.

Cazenovia had four players with double-digit points. Kelli Shepardson had a team high 17 points. Danielle Caivana, Skylar Girard, and Alexis Tubbs each had 11 points.

The Wildcats will take on rival Keuka College in a NEAC contest. The game is scheduled for a 3:00 tip-off on Saturday, December 2nd at SUNY Poly's Campus Center Gym.
