MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly women's basketball team lost their first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game of the season against Morrisville State on Wednesday 67-60. Turnovers and low shooting percentage were the deciding factors in the game.

The Wildcats held a two-point lead through the first half, but a hot third and fourth quarter for the Mustangs would ultimately seal the deal. The Wildcats shot just 37 percent from the field and a very uncharacteristic 11 percent from three-point range. The Wildcats also left points at the charity stripe (12-25) and turned the ball over 20 times.

- Khristajiah Jackson (Levittown, Pa.) accounted for nearly half of the Wildcats offense. The junior had her eighth double-double of the season with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Jackson also amassed three assists, four steals, and three blocks in the game.

- Kiersten Leos (Camden, N.Y.) had nine points, three rebounds, and four assists for the Wildcats. The freshman had one of the Wildcats three pointers in the game.

- Shelbey Kralik (Albany, N.Y.) shot 43 percent and had eight points for the Wildcats. The senior also had eight rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block.

- For Morrisville Jordan Anderson was just a rebound shy of a double-double. She had 26 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and a steal.

- Charlotte Walker had 15 points, six rebounds, and two steals for the Mustangs.

The Wildcats are now 14-2 overall and are 8-1 in the NEAC, which is the best record in the North Division. The team will be back in action this weekend when they host Penn College on Saturday. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 tip.
