WBB: SUNY Poly Offense Overpowers Wolves; Wildcats Improve to 5-0.

MARCY, N.Y. –The Wildcat women's basketball team hosted Keuka on Sunday in the team's third North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game of the season. The Wildcats outscored the Wolves in every quarter of the game, ending with a 29-point win; 69-40.

The Wildcats shot the lights out in the game. The team hit its first 6 three point attempts of the game. As a team the Wildcats shot nearly 54 percent from three-point land and shot 39 percent from the field. The Wildcats forced 24 turnovers resulting in 27 points. The largest lead of the game was 39 by the Wildcats in the third quarter.

Khristaijah Jackson (Levittown, Pa.) led the Wildcats with 15 points, eight rebounds, two steals, and an assist. Stevie Ray (Syracuse, N.Y.) shot 55 percent from the field and went 3-5 from behind the arc. Ray finished the game with 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

Ryenn Smith (Lyons, N.Y.) and Shelbey Kralik (Kingston, Ont.) played well for the Wildcats. Smith had 12 points in 22 minutes and grabbed four rebounds. Kralik shot 50 percent and scored seven points, had a game high four steals, three rebounds and two assists.

The Wolves were led by Katie Stuart who had a team high 11 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Arianna DeNault had eight points, two rebounds and a steal for Keuka.

The Wildcats are now a perfect 5-0 and are 3-0 in the NEAC. The team will be back in action on Wednesday when they will host Cazenovia. Tipp off is scheduled for 5:00 PM in the Campus Center Gym.
