WBB: Wildcats Improve to 2-0 in the NEAC With 20-Point Win Over Wells.

MARCY, N.Y. – The SUNY Poly women's basketball team hosted Wells College on Saturday in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) divisional matchup. The Wildcat offense had a field day, scoring 70 points against the Express en route to a 70-50 win.

Stevie Ray (Syracuse, N.Y.) led the way for the Wildcats yet again. She followed up her 43-point game on Wednesday with a 21-point game on Saturday. Five of Rays six field goals were three pointers. The Senior also gobbled up 14 rebounds and had five assists in the game.

Khristajiah Jackson (Levittown, Pa.) had a solid 16 point, eight rebound performance. The junior also had two steals and a block in her 26 minutes on the floor. Jackson shot 50 percent from the field and went four for five at the charity stripe.

The Wildcats shot 30 percent as a team and drained eight three pointers in the game. The Wildcats had more rebounds (54-30), assists (12-7), and bench points (19-3) than their opponent. The Wildcats largest lead of the game was 25 points with 5:42 remaining in the game.

For the Express, Shelby Medovich had a game high 22 points, three rebounds, and an assist. Ashida Cooper had 16 points, four rebounds, four steals, and three assists.

The Wildcats improve their regular season record to 4-0 with the win and are now 2-0 in the NEAC. The teams next game is Sunday, December 4th at 1:00 PM against the Keuka Wolves.
