MVB: Win over Southern Vermont Helps Wildcats Improve to 4-4.

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's volleyball team improved to 4-4 on the season with a 3-0 win over Southern Vermont on Tuesday 25-7, 25-9, 25-8. The Wildcats hit .600 as a team and had eight players hit over .500 in the match.

Zachary Sweet (Brockport, N.Y.) had a match high eight kills on nine attacks. Sweet also had two service aces.

James Homan (Fairport, N.Y.) had six kills for the Wildcats. He hit .857 on seven swings.

Lorenzo Kwolek (Glenville, N.Y.), Max Szuba (Irondequoit, N.Y.), and Ryan Gloff (Brockport, N.Y.) each had four kills in the match. Kwolek had two digs and hit .429. Szuba had three digs and hit .800. Gloff hit .333.

The Wildcats will hit the road next weekend for a pair of matches in Rochester. The Wildcats will take on Nazareth and host St. John Fisher at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM respectively.
