MSOC: Offensive Struggles Continue for SUNY Poly in a 0-2 loss to SUNY Canton.

MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcats (0-4-0) lost to SUNY Canton (2-3-1) on Wednesday 0-2. The Wildcats offensive struggles continued in the game as the team was shutout for the third time in four games. So far, the Wildcats have scored just one goal so far this season and have allowed ten.

SUNY Canton scored their first goal of the game in the closing minutes of the first half on a through ball from the top of the box that was netted by Edward Malinoski. Their second came on a rebound by Marc Ramirez that was bounced into the net by Marc Ramirez.

The Wildcat offense managed just nine shots in the game, four of which were on goal.

SUNY Poly goalkeeper Alexander Gigliotti (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) made six saves in the game. The loss brings his record to 0-3-0 on the year.

The Wildcats will be on the road for their next game. The team will travel to Bard college for a non-conference game on Saturday, September 16th. The game is scheduled for a 2:00 PM start. The Raptors are 3-1 this season with wins against SUNY Canton (3-1) and Cobleskill (3-1).
