  • MLAX: Wildcats Improve to 2-2 in NEAC Play With an 18-14 win over Medaille.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team improved to 2-2 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play on Wednesday with an 18-14 win over the Medaille Mavericks. The Wildcats jumped out to a big early lead of 15 goals at its peak. A big fourth quarter surge by Medaille would get them back into the game, but it was not enough to overcome the large deficit.

    COBLESKILL, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team earned their first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game of the 2017 season on Saturday, 15-10 over Cobleskill. The Wildcat’s 15 goals was the team’s highest offensive output of the season with two players putting six goals on the board.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team hosted Hilbert on Wednesday night in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game. The Wildcats got down early in the game thanks to an offensive onslaught by the Hawks. The final score of the game was 17-5.
  • MLAX: Wildcats Beaten in NEAC Opener 16-6 by Keuka.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team hosted Keuka College on Saturday in the first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) game of the season. The Wildcats played the Wolves close in the first half, gaining the lead in the second period 4-3. Keuka would rattle off four unanswered goals to end the half, giving them a 7-4 lead. The Wildcats would add just two goals to their total in the third and fourth quarter combined, while Keuka would add nine to secure the win. The final score of the game was 16-6.
  • MLAX: Elsenbeck Scores Four in Wildcat Loss to Utica.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team hosted local rival Utica College on Monday night in a non-conference game that saw the Wildcats lose 19-8. The Wildcats played the Pioneers hard for three quarters before succumbing to the Utica attack. Entering the third quarter the Wildcats trailed the Pioneers 8-6. An 11-2 run to end the game by Utica was the deciding factor in the game.
  • MLAX: Hard-fought Game Ends in Defeat for Wildcats.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly Wildcat’s hosted SUNY Canton on Saturday in their second of five home games over a nine day stretch. The game was a close one throughout. The Wildcats held a one goal lead through the first quarter and were tied with the Kangaroos at the end of the second and third. Unfortunately, the Wildcats were shut out 4-0 in the fourth, ultimately losing 15-11.
  • MLAX: Wildcats Fall in Home Opener to Delhi 14-5.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The Wildcats fell to Delhi on Thursday in the men’s lacrosse home opener 14-5. The Wildcats started slow, allowing Delhi to get off to a 4-0 lead in the first. The second quarter was also advantage Delhi as the Broncos rattled off four more unanswered goals before the Wildcats got on the board late in the quarter. The Wildcats got some offense going in the third and fourth quarter, but it was not enough to mount a comeback.
  • MLAX: Winter Storm Stella Postpones Men's Lacrosse Home Opener Against Utica College.

    MARCY, N.Y. - The SUNY Poly men's lacrosse game against Utica College on Wednesday March 15th at 4:00 PM has been officially postponed due to inclement weather. The new game day and time is Friday March 17th at 3:00 PM. The game will still take place at SUNY Poly's Wildcat Field. The weather on Friday is expected to be in the mid 30's with a 10 percent chance of precipitation.

  • MLAX: Wildcats Earn First Win of the Season in Dramatic Fashion 14-12 Over Regis.

    WESTON, MASS. - The SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team opened their season on Saturday with a win against the Regis College Pride 14-12. The Wildcats and the Pride were tied at 11 with less than a minute left in regulation, but the Wildcat offense would strike twice in the final 23 seconds of the game to take the win earning the team and new Head Coach Brandon Misiaszek the first win of the 2017 season.
