MBB: Wildcats Wrap-up 2018 Regular Season With a Win Over Penn College.

WILLIAMSPORT, PA. – The SUNY Poly men's basketball team (18-7, 14-2 NEAC) wrapped up the 2018 regular season with a 67-61 road win over North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opponent Penn College (3-22, 2-14 NEAC). The Wildcats took an eight-point lead in the first half and held on to that lead for the remainder of the game.

Kevin Williams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) led the Wildcats with 20 points in the game, shooting 80% from the field. Kev also brought in three rebounds, had two assists, and a steal. Williams wrapped up the season leading the NEAC in scoring and rebounding in conference games. He averaged 22.6 points and 9.6 rebounds per conference game.

Malik Johnson (Highland Falls, N.Y.) and Frank Reali (Staten Island, N.Y.) each had 10 points for the Wildcats. Reali hit two threes and went four for four from the charity stripe. He also had a team high seven rebounds. Johnson shot 75% and was also perfect from the free-throw line.

 For Penn College, Robert Young Jr. had a game high 22 points, five rebounds, and five steals. Jesse White had a game high 10 rebounds and a game high two blocks. Spencer Barton had 11 points.

The Wildcats will host Keuka College on Tuesday in a NEAC Quarter-final game. The Wildcats beat the Wolves twice in the regular season and with a win, SUNY Poly will advance to the NEAC Final Four next weekend. The game is scheduled for a 5:00 PM tip at SUNY Poly's Campus Center Gym.
