MBB: Mitchell's Double-Double Helps Wildcats Defeat Abington 83-78.

ABINGTON, PA. - The SUNY Poly men's basketball team improved to 14-2 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) on Sunday with an 83-78 win over Penn State Abington. The Wildcats got great production from their front court which contributed 53 points in the win.

Quayshaun Mitchell (Harlem, N.Y.) notched his sixth 20 plus point performance of and his eighth double-double of the season. The senior had 22 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and a steal in the game.

Terrynce Wilson (Bronx, N.Y.) had 19 points on 7 of 12 shooting. Wilson hit the boards for seven rebounds and had two steals, an assist and a block in the game.

Kevin Williams (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished out his strong week with a 12 point performance. The junior shot 55 percent from the field and had eight rebounds, a team high three blocks, and a steal.

For Abington Austin Slawter had a game high 23 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two assists. John Ryan had 21 points, five rebounds, two steals, and an assist.

The Wildcats will be back at it on Friday when they host Lancaster Bible in a NEAC game. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM at SUNY Poly's Campus Center Gym.
