SUNYIT Baseball Home Opener Rescheduled Again, Wildcats to Host Oswego State on Monday

UTICA, NY – Due to inclement weather, the SUNYIT baseball team's home opener against Oswego State this Sunday has been rescheduled for Monday, March 28.  The contest will now be a nine-inning contest and is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm.

The match was originally scheduled to be played this Saturday at 1:00 pm as a doubleheader, but poor field conditions caused by this week's wintry weather forced the game to twice be postponed.

Due to the on-campus construction of both the $20 million field house and the new Wildcat Baseball Field, SUNYIT will play this and all other home games this season at the Larry DeLutis Field in Rome, NY.  Directions can be found here.

The Wildcats are currently 6-8 overall.
