David Golembiowski enters his first year as Assistant Athletics Director for Athletics Events and Facilities at SUNY Poly. Golembiowski previously served as Staff Assistant in Athletics and Recreation for the Wildcats while also assisting with the Men’s Basketball and Baseball programs since August of 2018.

In 2021-22, Golembiowski served as Game Management and Game Day Operations point person. This included staffing and supervision of student workers, set-up and breakdown of athletic events, and serving as the primary game manager. Golembiowski also served in his second season as Pitching Coach of the Wildcat baseball team. Golembiowski helped to develop NAC West Team All-Conference Starting Pitcher Paul Morgan, who finished the season with a conference-best 2.64 ERA.

In the Spring of 2021, Golembiowski served his first season as Pitching Coach at SUNY Poly. The year, shortened due to the Covid-19 pandemic, concluded with a loss in the NAC West Division Finals to rival SUNY Cobleskill.

Golembiowski took on the role of lead Assistant Coach for the Men’s Basketball team in the 2019-20 campaign. His duties included assisting with practice planning, player development, scouting, recruiting, and offensive play calling. The Wildcats had an outstanding season, winning the NEAC North Division Regular Season Championship. The Wildcat's season ended with a loss in the NEAC Semi-finals to Lancaster Bible.

David Golembiowski served in his first season as Assistant Baseball Coach in 2019. The Wildcats finished the season with a record of 10-26 and fell just short of a spot in the NEAC Playoffs.

In the Fall of 2018, Golembiowski began his first season as Assistant Coach of the Men’s Basketball team at SUNY Poly. The team finished with an overall record of 15-13 and lost in the NEAC Championship game to rival Morrisville State.

In August of 2018, Golembiowski, a 2011 graduate, returned to SUNY Poly after a seven-year professional basketball career. As a professional basketball player in Germany, Golembiowski was twice awarded First Team All-League honors, as well as an Honorable Mention selection. Golembiowski also served as a youth coach in Germany.

As a student, Golembiowski majored in Finance and was a four-year member of the men's basketball and baseball teams. Upon graduation, Golembiowski held men's basketball program records in career points, rebounds, blocked shots, and three-pointers made. A three-time NEAC player of the year, Golembiowski was also awarded 2nd Team All-American by D3hoops.com as a senior.

As a pitcher, Golembiowski earned two 3rd Team All-Conference selections and graduated with the program record in career saves. 

A graduate of Holland Patent High School in 2007, Golembiowski currently resides in Barneveld, NY.
